Description
Location. The pink façaded Hotel Vittoria in Milan, Italy, is located in the center of Italy's largest city, one kilometer from the Sforzesco Castle and one and one half kilometers from the famous Duomo Square. For designer shopping, Via Montenapoleone is less than two kilometers from the hotel. This quiet hotel allows guests to escape the urbanity of Milan while at the same time not sacrificing access to key business and cultural destinations. Hotel Features. During the summer, breakfast is served in the garden, which is delightfully overflowing with potted plants. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. Drivers can make use of the secure parking garage for a fee. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area.
Guestrooms. All 40 guestrooms include private bathrooms. Simple furniture and demure colors with brightly colored fabrication on the bedding and curtains. Air conditioning is a welcome feature during the summer months. Television and direct telephone lines are also featured in a guestrooms. Non smoking guestrooms are available upon request. DirectionsMilan Linate Airport: Approximate driving time is 15 minutes and distance is 6 kilometers. Bus no. 73 runs every 10 minutes and connects the airport with the Milan underground at San Babila Station. There is also a shuttle bus to Milan Malpensa Airport on the other side of the city. There is an airport coach service which runs every 20 minutes to the Air Terminal at Milan Central Station. Taxis take about 10 minutes at around 15. Piazzale Dateo train station is one kilometer from the hotel. Driving directions: From Linate Airport take Viale Forlanini to the city centre. Go straight ahead; the road changes to Viale Corsica and Corso 22 Marzo. Follow directions to 'centro' and the hotel is located on a street on the right called Via Pietro Calvi. Milan's public transport includes four underground lines, as well as buses and trams. Tickets are available at Metropolitana Milanesa (MM) stations and some newspaper stands. Taxi ranks have telephones. Parking in the city is limited to two hours during the day. Illegally parked cars are fined or towed.
