Description
Hotel Demidoff is a modern hotel located by Lima metro station, less than a kilometre from the Central Train Station and two kilometres from the fashionable shops of Via Monte Napoleone. This five floor hotel features 40 air conditioned guestrooms all of which include satellite television, direct dial phones, dial up Internet access, minibars and bathrooms with hairdryers. Rooms have a warm decor with patterned fabrics, and are furnished with desks.
Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can advise on sightseeing trips and local attractions, exchange currency and organise transfers to and from the airport (surcharge). There is an express check in/check out service, a laundry service, and a safe deposit box for the storage of valuables. Parking is available nearby. Although there is no restaurant on site, a complimentary breakfast is served each morning and there are numerous dining options in the area. DirectionsTo travel from the airport; the 73 Bus runs every 10 minutes and connects the airport with the Milan underground at San Babila Station. An airport coach service runs every 20 minutes to the Air Terminal at Milan Central Station, one kilometre from the hotel. A taxi from the airport to the hotel takes approximately 20 minutes. Milan's public transport includes four underground lines, as well as buses and trams. Tickets are available at Metropolitana Milanesa (MM) stations and some newspaper stands. Taxi ranks have telephones. Parking in the city is limited to two hours during the day. Illegally parked cars are fined or towed.
Driving directions: From the airport take the Via Traversi and turn left at SP15B. After approximately nine kilometres take the Viale Enrico Forlanini towards S.Donato then turn right at Piazza Emilia and turn left at Via Plinio.
