Getting there. A taxi to central Milan costs about 15 EUR 20 EUR. An airport shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to Milan's Stazione Centrale (central station), one block away. The fare is 3 EUR for a single ticket. The number 73 bus leaves every 10 minutes from outside arrivals and runs to San Babila station on Milan's underground metro system. The fare is 1 EUR for a single ticket. The hotel is one block from a metro stop. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Hilton Milan is on Via Luigi Galvani. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists, and most coffee bars. Driving is not recommended in Milan's city centre. There are many one way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined. Parking is available at the hotel (surcharge).
Driving directions.From Milan Linate Airport (LIN): Take Viale Forlanini and continue straight until Piazza 5 Giornate. At the piazza, turn right and carry on until Piazza Oberdan. From there, join Corso Buenos Aires. At the third set of traffic lights, turn left onto Via Vitruvio. Continue straight across Piazza Duca D'Aosta and the Hilton Milan is 200 metres away.
