Description
The Antares Hotel Accademia is a five floor hotel situated in the centre of Milan, four kilometres from the Duomo Square and six from the fashion district. The 67 air conditioned guestrooms have pale neutral décor in with frescoes of gardens in spring colours, upholstered furnishings and carpeted floors. All guestrooms include minibars, wireless Internet access, safes, direct dial phones, satellite television and bathrooms with tubs or showers and hair dryers.
In the Amaltea and Eos Restaurant Italian and Milanese food is prepared using fresh local ingredients and served in a restaurant with columns, wall frescoes and stained glass windows. Set behind Sforza castle, Sempione Park is two kilometres from the hotel and is one of Milan's largest green spaces where meandering shaded paths offer routes for walking or jogging. Other nearby attractions include the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, Brera Art Gallery and San Siro race course, all within 3.5 kilometres. Milan Linate Airport is seven kilometres from the hotel. From the airport take the airport coach service to the Air Terminal at the central railway station (Stazione Centrale), then take tram number 33 (direction Roserio) and get off at Piazzale Accursio. Alternatively, bus no.73 runs every 10 minutes and connects the airport with the Milan underground at San Babila Station.
